Please view the video clips of the prototype NAVA 38 during sea trials in September and October of 2002. The prototype hull is ballasted with sand bags to simulate the completed weight of the boat.
Sea trial results were very impressive, providing a cruise speed of 27 knots, and 33 knots at WOT. At cruise speed the vessel burned 14 US. gallons / hr. (52 liters / hr., 11.7 Imp. gal / hr.)
In general the boat handles with remarkable agility, comes to plane almost effortlessly and in rough water provides an exceptionally soft, dry ride.
