Fuel Efficient, 38' Hardtop Sportfisher / Cruiser Mold Set For Sale

The Nava project began as a new boat for myself with thoughts of series production. I have now chosen to divest of the tooling and other materials. This package represents a considerable savings in R & D, engineering and tooling costs and provides your company the opportunity to rapidly position itself ahead on development and production of this timely and innovative product with a modest investment. The hull and drive package offer significantly improved sea keeping and fuel efficiency.

Sea Trials

In sea trials at ballasted weight of 14,000 lbs the Nava demonstrated 27 kt cruise at 15 USG / hr. Its efficiency and all weather hull design also offers numerous marketing opportunities in recreational, commercial and government sectors.

Design and Production Highlights

The Nava is a stylish, traditional appearing sedan cruiser / sportfisher that is strategically engineered using a combination of technologies in a unique way for the purpose of improved fuel efficiency and performance. The innovative design of the Nava 38 addresses the growing demand for reduced environmental impact and on-going operating costs by offering improved fuel efficiency and performance. Its design and the technologies to provide improved efficiency are sensible and proven.

The initial hull design by Charlie Jannace is a proven performer providing a soft dry ride with strong lineage to the Raymond Hunt Deep V designs.

The hull mold is produced by 5 axis milling machine by Janicki Industries http://www.janicki.com . Molds include hull, deck, roof, windshield, inner windshield reinforcement, cabin side engine air ventilation louvers, roof visor underside panel, trunk cabin port light insert molds, windshield defogger duct, Power-Vent surface drive pocket and air ducts, bow thruster insert molds, numerous small molds.

All tooling is built to a high level of precision and quality with class one finish and designed for vacuum infusion. Some additional tooling would be needed for full production, as well the Janicki hull mold requires some fairing.
